1. Scope
These terms apply to all quotes, sales and deliveries by Belgrip. Belgrip only sells to businesses (companies, self-employed professionals, garages and workshops), not to consumers. Your own general terms only apply if we have accepted them in writing.
2. Free test box
We offer one free test box per business, for professional use, in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, while stocks last. It commits you to nothing. We may refuse a request, for example if your business has already received a box.
3. Quotes and orders
We give you our prices by phone, by email or in person, before any order. Unless stated otherwise, a quote is valid for 30 days. An order is final once we confirm it in writing (email, text message or WhatsApp).
4. Prices
Our prices are in euros, excluding VAT. Any delivery costs are stated before you order. We may change our prices for future orders; a confirmed order keeps its price.
5. Delivery and restocking
We deliver to the address you give us. Delivery times are indicative. If a delivery is seriously late, you can cancel that order free of charge if we have not delivered within 15 days of your written reminder.
If you choose regular restocking, we agree the quantities and frequency together. You can change them or stop the restocking at any time, free of charge, for the following deliveries.
6. Payment
Our invoices are payable by bank transfer within 30 days of their date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. If payment is late, late-payment interest and a fixed compensation for recovery costs are due automatically and without formal notice, under the Belgian Act of 2 August 2002 on combating late payment in commercial transactions.
7. Ownership and risk
The gloves remain the property of Belgrip until the invoice is paid in full. The risk passes to you on delivery.
8. Complaints
Check the delivery when you receive it. Tell us in writing about any visible defect, error or missing quantity within 8 days, with a photo if possible. Report a hidden defect as soon as you discover it. If the complaint is justified, we replace the gloves concerned or refund their price, at our choice.
9. Use of the gloves
Our gloves are disposable, single-use gloves. You check that they suit the intended work, especially where chemicals are involved, and you follow the instructions on the packaging. Replace any damaged glove.
10. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount invoiced for the gloves concerned. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as loss of turnover or profit. These limits do not apply in case of fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence or bodily injury, or where the law prohibits them, including the Belgian Act of 25 February 1991 on liability for defective products.
11. Force majeure
We are not liable for a delay or failure to deliver caused by an event beyond our control, for example a general strike, a natural disaster, war, an epidemic or major transport disruption. We will tell you as soon as possible. If the situation lasts more than 60 days, either of us may cancel the order concerned free of charge.
12. Personal data
We process your data in line with our privacy policy.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Belgian law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). In a dispute, we first look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the courts of the judicial district of Belgrip's registered office have sole jurisdiction.
14. Languages
These terms exist in French, Dutch and English. If the versions differ in meaning, the version in the language of your order prevails.
