1. Who is responsible for your data?

2. What data do we collect?

• When you request a free box with the form: your name, the name of your garage or company, your phone number, your town if you give it, and the language of the page.
• When you call or write to us (phone, WhatsApp, email): your number or email address and what your messages say.
• When we deliver to you or you become a customer: the delivery address, your company's billing details (including its VAT number) and your order history.
• When you visit the site: our hosting provider records technical data (IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time) to run and protect the site.

3. Why, and on what legal basis?

• To call you back, bring you the test box and answer your questions. Legal basis: your request and steps taken before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in answering businesses that contact us (Article 6(1)(f)).
• To deliver, invoice and follow up your orders. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and our accounting and tax obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
• To contact you again later about our gloves, by phone or with a visit. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in developing our business relationships (Article 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time: just tell us.
• To protect the site. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

We do not send you newsletters or advertising emails without your consent. We make no automated decisions about you.

4. How long do we keep your data?

• Requests that lead nowhere: at most 2 years after our last contact.
• Customers: for as long as the business relationship lasts, then 2 years. Invoices and accounting records are kept for as long as the law requires.
• Technical data at the hosting provider: for a limited period set by the provider, for site security.

5. Who receives your data?

We never sell your data. We only pass it to service providers who help us work, and only for that purpose:

• our web host, Netlify, Inc. (site and form);
• our email provider (emails);
• carriers, for deliveries;
• our accountant, for invoicing.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages also pass through WhatsApp (Meta), which processes them under its own privacy rules.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Netlify is based in the United States. It is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of protection.

7. Cookies

This site uses no cookies, so it shows no cookie banner.

• The fonts are hosted on our own site: your browser does not connect to Google.
• If you choose a language, your choice is saved in your browser (local storage) for your next visit. It is never sent to our servers.

8. Your rights

At any time, you can:

• see your data and get a copy of it;
• have it corrected;
• have it deleted;
• restrict its use or object to it, including to sales calls;
• receive the data you gave us in a common format (portability).

Write to us at info@belgrip.be. We reply within one month. If in doubt, we may ask you to prove your identity.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS (encrypted connection). Only the people at Belgrip who need your data have access to it.

We may update this page. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
